I'm confused as to what I should be doing to get the latest available build for TextMate 2.
I'm currently using 9090 which is what the menu update check says is the latest, but see posts referring to higher numbers.

There are newer builds which are really supposed to be for internal purposes (built for a specific person, or to demonstrate a new unfinished feature). If you press Opt (Alt) when clicking on the "Check Now" button in the Software Update tab in the TM2 preferences, that you will get this version. The latest version seems to be 9113, and this hasn't changed for several weeks now.
It is generally not recommended to use these builds, but 9113 seems pretty stable for me :-)
