So on my other Mac my git branch would show up in the title bar and was pretty useful. I just downloaded

on my new computer and it no longer shows the git information. What happened to it?

Copy over ~/.tm_properties from your other mac.

Actually, the default window title does (now) include both project name and SCM branch (if any) making it unnecessary for most users to fiddle with windowTitle (and also often projectDirectory).
