Hi,
when I want open a file from within TM I mostly want to open a file in the vicinity of the current file. So is there a way to have the open file dialog open with the directory of the current file displayed.

I believe the open and save windows are controlled by OS X, you may want to look at http://www.stclairsoft.com/DefaultFolderX/index.html for a more system wide way of managing that behavior.

On windows it is also the OS that handles the dialog, it is possible to pass it an initial directory on construction though so an app can influence the behaviour.
Thanks for the hint to DefaultFolderX I'll have a look at it.
