After updating to v2.0.17, when I open the Bundle Editor, it looks like this (screenshot): https://i.imgur.com/4Xhewxw.png
The browser section is shrunk down to a few pixels. I'm unable to use the drag handle to resize the panels to reveal the browser section. Any secret tricks to restore the panels to their default size?
😅

Can’t help, but – same thing here. Same TextMate version, on macOS Mojave. It also happens in a different user account in which TextMate is running with default settings and bundles.
Kind regards, Tobias

Not working for me. I am running Mac OS 10.14.6. Looks like this. I cannot drag the top part down to make it accessible.

That appears to be the case: The issue exists for macOS 10.14 (and earlier), but only when I build on macOS 10.15.
Jacob: Are you reading this? ;) This is one of those pesky issues I was referring to; upgrading my build environment can introduce problems that only show on *older* versions of macOS.
The bundle editor window is currently created from a nib file, so it’s a bit hard to debug the issue, but I’ll redo it in code and push a build shortly.

You can try using the default command shown below to see if that will
restore the Bundle Editor window to the default size. You will need to quit TextMate first.
defaults delete com.macromates.TextMate "NSWindow Frame Bundle Editor"
Ron

This resets the size of the window. But I still cannot drag the panel divider down to access top panel. The cursor does change when I hover over the divider. But dragging it has no effect.

There is now a test build available (hold option when checking for updates either via TextMate menu or preferences).
However, I found that with no saved size, the split view will initially have the browser fully collapsed (on macOS 10.14), so first time you open the window, you will have to grab the drag handle just below the window title and resize it; after that, it should remember the position.
Also: I removed the drawer :)
PS. I'm missing the TextMate1's bundle management UI. I was super easy to add sub menus etc... Is there any future plan to fix it? or improve it? copying UUID and adding to plist manually is a bit hard :)

I would very much like to do some improvements in this area! But it always seems to be pushed down on my list, a combination of only rarely interacting with the bundle editor myself (though probably because it feels so half baked), and not having a clear vision of how I would like to see it (re)done.
I imagine though if I’m avoiding the bundle editor myself, lots of users are doing the same, which is really a shame, because they forego so many neat customizations that could be done.
On the latter point, and to elaborate on the above, my thinking is that I shouldn’t create “a thing to edit bundles” but rather bring the ways in which TextMate can be customized, into the places where these things are relevant.
Of course we will still need a command editor with properties, etc. (and maybe a “Run” / “Dry Run” kind of action), but one giant hierarchical list is probably not the way to organize it. E.g. editing a language grammar should just be “Edit…” (or “New…”) from the langauge grammar selector, all the scope specific settings need their own editor that can be called up from the current document, to see effective settings, etc. (like what can be done with ⌃⌘T), etc.
Thank man! Hope to hear more about this.

Helped. Bundle editor’s back and looks good. Thanks, *!
Funny side effect: one of my open LaTeX documents named “iteration_loop.tex” came back up as “iteration_loop.jpg” (but remained a LaTeX document in LaTeX mode) and had vanished from its directory. I have no clue at all where it was gone and where this extension came from.

I just tried this new test build, I’m running on Big Sur. I would expect some form of border/divider to visually separate the inspector (or what it’s called. What used to in the drawer) from the rest. I also expected the inspector to be located in a split view, so the width of the inspector can be resized.

It was a quick patch to fix the lack of resize on macOS 10.14, but latest build improves the look/functionality of the views.
