Hi everybody,
I just noticed that if you “Show Information” on an element of a project, there is this option “Save as absolute path”. Apparently, when checked, I can move my .tmproj file to another location and TextMate keeps track of the elements of the project. This is great !! I was really frustrated that I had to “redefine” my TM projects whenever I moved the .tmproj files somewhere else…
So, unless I miss a major drawback, I would like very much that this option be checked by default…
TIA

Yes, it's a major drawback. It means you can't move the project (w/ the .tmproj file inside), or a folder containing both project and .tmproj file, without the whole thing breaking.
Relative links should stay default.

Agree. Ability to move whole project is way better than simple .tmproj file. And BTW if you want to put all .tmproj files in one place - create a symlinks to .tmproj fies within your project filder. I'm sure it will work nice.
Ah, I think I understand… Relative paths means relative to the .tmproj file… I see
Well, in my case, I definitely prefer absolute paths but I can see now it would be unfair to make it default…
