Howdy. I'm new here. So far, I really like what I see in TextMate.
In other text editors I've worked in, when you select some text and launch the find/replace dialog, the "find" field automatically gets populated with the selected text.
Is it possible to set TextMate behave this way?

Invoke Find/Replace Dialog and press OPTION. The left button's title will change.

I believe you want to try something like
1. select something 2. ⌘E (put selection on search clipboard) 3. ⌘G (find next)
