Just for the record, I'm running Wordpress 2.83 and just posted my first entry from Textmate this morning. Worked like a charm for me. I'm using the Ruby that came with OS X:

I have been using the Blogging Bundle to post to WordPress for quite some time, but about two months ago I started getting an error when posting.
None of my settings for my blog have changed, but I've upgraded my WordPress version in that time frame. The time of the error beginning might coincide with my upgrade to WordPress 2.8.x, but I'm not sure of that.
Anyway, here's the error I'm getting:

This is clearly a timeout issue, but the interesting part is that the blog posts *ARE* making it to the blog--but I'm not getting the quick response and then the invokation of Safari to view the just-posted content like usual. Also, if I make changes to a post now it'll post as a duplicate instead of updating the one that's already there.
I've tried the following things:
- disabling pings on individual posts
- disabling the ping notification services within WordPress
...with no luck.
Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong here?

Hello Michael, I thought you have solved my problem. After your email I noticed that WordPress on my blog was 2.8.2 and that was the problem. I just upgraded the blog to 2.8.3, crossing my fingers so that the problem is solved, but unfortunately, the same error message popped up.
Maybe there is something wrong with my TM installation. I have the cutting edge and I update my bundles from the SVN repository.

I am using WP 2.8.2, stock Ruby, and latest bundle/TextMate, and don’t have any problems posting.
Your grab makes it look like you are not using stock ruby (as you have curly quotes around function names in the stack trace, where stock ruby uses `this' iirc).
It also looks like you are receiving garbage from the server as the date being parsed.
You may want to try and enable server log: http://wiki.macromates.com/Blogging/WordPress
