Hi.
I'm using TextMate v1.1b8 (2005-05-07) on Tiger.
I just spent 30 mins or so customising my themes with the built in theme editor, and since it was running very slowly I quit and restarted TM, only to discover none of my changes had 'stuck'.
Is there something I'm missing? Is persistence of these changes not yet implemented, or do i have a bug on m hands?
cheers

Can't think of you anything obvious that you're missing. However, the themes should work just fine. At least it does on my system with the same setup.
Where are your bundles installed ? and did you hand edit the theme settings (accidentally invalidating them) ?
Kind regards,
Mats

regardless of what i change, NO theme edits "stick" after quit. I've tried changing one colour using the GUI alone then exiting and restarting, for example.
Bundles are all in /Library/Application Support/TextMate/Bundles
********** UPDATE: I deleted /Library/Application Support/TextMate, reinstalled TM & a fresh svn working copy, and it seems to be working now. Maybe it got mangled in the switch to Tiger ...
thanks __________

I'm looking in the Theme Editor in b8 for the first time.
I expanded "Basic settings" and was surprised to find thing in seemingly random order.
I think it would be helpful for them to be sorted.
Also, I can understand why "Default smart typing", "Bold text", "Underline text", and "Italic text" is in there but "Ruby indent" and "C++ smart pair angle brack"?
Also, resizing the window expands the tree view, but the display area doesn't expand i.e. it always shows "Ruby smart pair block para" even though there's more room than that in the subview.

This is a placeholder group till the bundle editor is expanded to handle the language specific settings. The current theme editor is just a first draft of an interface that expose the new capabilities.
