The new color hack (which reads in colors) is marvelous. It is saving me lots of time and pain.

I updated my show invisibles hack http://math.sfsu.edu/hsu/textmate to have subtler colors and play nicer with ASCII xA1-xFF. Don't know what to do about Unicode, but I'm sure someone can extend my simple idea.
