Hi there. I've started trying out TextMate as a possible replacement for BBEdit. It's really nice. I have a couple of questions that I've not yet been able to find answers to in the help.
The opening parenthesis flashes quickly when I cursor forward over the matching closing parenthesis. It doesn't appear to do it for the other three cases: (the four being forward/backward : opening/ closing). Also, the flash is too quick and not very easy to see. Is there a way of changing the behaviour in a bundle or is it part of the UI that can't be changed...?
Also, how do I change the Select Enclosing Brackets menu command to be ⌘B - I keep on getting some whistle when I forget that the default is ⇧⌘B.
thanks - hope these questions aren't too easy for you :-)

System Preferences → Keyboard and Mouse → Keyboard Shortcuts ;
thanks - I should have known that... :-/

And another possibility is to create a Macro that executes given menu command.

No, sorry.

You can select Bundles → Bundle Editor → Show Bundle Editor and then from Filter List… disable the Xcode bundle, which is the one that does Build on ⌘B.
Markup languages (HTML, Markdown, Textile, BBCode, LaTeX, etc.) uses ⌘B for Bold, so you may still want to keep it for that.

Fair enough. Is there an 'official' place where I can send a request or vote for some enhancements in this area? (I'm happy if I've at least asked for it... :-)
http://www.macromates.com/contact has a ticket system for submitting bugs and feature requests.

OK - found it, thanks.

That's clever, I like that!
