I think it'd be great to be able to just alt-click a bunch of placesto enable column typing (no need to be the same char. num in each line), and do the column typing in the places you clicked (of course then it wouldnt really be *column* typing, but i think it's a very intuitive enhancement...)
hi, i also had similar situations, mostly when editing html, when exactly this problem did occur but i didnt had this idea. i think this is a feature i also would like to see in textmate. isnt this something which would be great for 1.1? :)
