Yes, The normal user is not the admin for security reasons.
I have it manually downloaded and installed. I couldn’t find the download by the app.

Today I’ve got an update to version 2.0.23
Infortunately I couldn’t install.
Is your Applications/TextMate.app owned by another user (i.e. you are not admin)?
Looked for the file in the downloadmap, but it wasn’t there. I wonder where to find.
The update gets downloaded to ~/Library/Caches/com.macromates.TextMate/ so you should be able to find it there.
I recently switched from custom code to the standard system API to “replace file” (during install), this was because the custom code used some deprecated API, but unfortunately the system API seems unable to deal with permission stuff, and I think this affects a non-insignificant number of people, so I will have to re-introduce custom code. _______________________________________________ TextMate mailing list -- firstname.lastname@example.org To unsubscribe send an email to email@example.com
