Sadly I find that a lot of themes don't take into account line and search highlighting :( I always have to change the defaults. Ray

When doing a "Find" within a file, the found item(s) is highlighted but there is not really enough contrast to make it quickly noticeable. Open Preferences, switch to fonts and colors and third option down on the left - Selection - is the color you want to change.
you might find adjust opacity will help.
