I'm working on several moderately-sized Rails projects, and lately it's been taking several seconds to open or close a tab. I thought it was a memory issue, but restarting TM doesn't seem to help at all. This also doesn't seem to be at all related to the size of the file, so I don't think it's taking a long time to do the syntax highlighting. Is there something I could do to track down what's causing the slowness?

Have you checked the FAQ for known issues? http://wiki.macromates.com/FAQ/TextMate2
Most likely cause is having too many folders expanded in the file browser
Thanks, I was aware of that issue, but I guess I thought it was for a much larger number of open folders. Right now I have about 10 open, and that's about the limit of usability for me. Is this something that will be improved in the future?
