Updated version of my TextMate GUI Replacement "subtleGradient Leopard Dark 2" [1] This version fixes the spaces issue with the Find window [3]
If you just want to change the find windows without changing the whole gui, you can selectively only install the individual nibs you want.
If anyone else has any GUI replacements, please add them to the wiki [2]

Hey Thomas,
Following the instructions in the README, I've dropped the replacement files in. Nothing changed, though... Any idea what could have gone wrong, or how I can check?
Thanks,
Alexander
You have to make sure your copy of TextMate is in the /Applications folder. It might help to quit TextMate before dragging the files in. Then make sure TextMate restarts.
If it still doesn't work then I may have messed up somehow.

I just download it fresh and verified that the symbolic links are right and I got everything to work without a problem.
If you open those two symbolic links does anything have blue or green labels? If not then you may need to manually drag the files into TextMate.app/Contents/Resources/ and TextMate.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/
Also, be sure you're telling the finder to Replace all.
You'll have to do all this again every time you upgrade to the latest version of TextMate.

Same here, nothing happens. I did it manually as well.
Would you like me to do some test or send some data?

Something looks wrong here for sure. If I open the disk image I see just this:
http://www.hashref.com/tmp/subtleGradientDMGContents.png
whereas an ls -la of the volume gives these many symlinks:

Does that ring any bell?

I've got it working now. The problem was that the window that shows when the image is mounted didn't display all files. Opening the volume manually through Finder revealed them all and now all is well. :)
Looking great!

It displays the files one on top of another. The first time I tried, I just grabbed the top file and I didn't notice any difference. Then I made a point to select all of the files and it worked great.

Ahhh... I see the problem. That was rather stupid of me.
Sorry about that. I should update the readme to mention that.

Also perhaps move the icons around a few pixels in random directions, make it look more like the stack of icons it is. ;)
