I made my first screencast ever. It's 11 minutes long, and 15Mb big! The volume is a little low, pronunciation could be better, but I hope you enjoy! demonstrates the latest svn features.

little suggestion for improvement: The video is so tall in QT that the window barely fits with 100%-size on my 17"-iMac. A little bit more scroling in the video wouldn't have been so bad. On my iBook I won't be able to see this video in a nice size. You should keep in mind that the horizontal resolution of a lot of computers these days is still less than 800px (and then you have to substract menu- and title-bar from that as well)

A note about this screencast, it shows of a couple of the brand new features of the bundle so you might not get the exact same results with the latest Textmate release. If you really want to get it you'd have to do an svn checkout of the Obj-C bundle.

Wow. That was the quietest tallest most incomprehensible screencast evar. It might make a bit more sense to me if I knew ObjC, or even C. :D
I would suggest that you put it in iMovie or something and replace the soundtrack. You'll be able to more easily fill up the blank spots and make it way less quiet.
It looks like you're using some new cool tricks in there.

Yep. My recommendation is:
* Make a new user * set the display size to 800x600 * redo the screencast, making sure that you talk nearly continuously.
If you can talk while typing, that keeps the viewer's interest more than talking a bit, then pausing, then typing a bit, then pausing some more. :)
Making screencasts is definitely harder than it looks, and takes longer than one would expect. I had to do about 4-5 takes of that first AppleScript bundle screencast, as I kept messing it up.
