After the last update to textmate the keyboard shortcut (command+period) to auto close html tags seems to have broken. This is the error message that occurs: <p>/tmp/temp_textmate.IBrgoT:7: undefined method `match' for #String:0xc59ac (NameError)
Does anyone know how or if this can be fixed?
Thank you.
Michael
Hi. I have downloaded the latest and greatest version but I still cannot automatically close tags. This used to work fine but recently stopped working after I did an update.
The command is in the AppleScript Bundle and is called "Insert Statement Closer". The error I get is /tmp/temp_textmate.nFk5WU:7: undefined method `match' for #String:0xc59ac (NameError)
I am in the PHP -> Use HTML environment.
Thanks for any help.

Upgrade to latest cutting edge, I believe that one has the Ruby 1.6 compatible version of the command.

Just to confirm you are using version 1128? (Will say in the about box)
Hi Michael. This is the version I am using: 1.5.2 (v1103). Have not heard of the Preferences -> Software Update, switch to “Cutting Edge” setting but will try that I guess.
Thanks for any help.

Hi. Just found the 'cutting edge" install option and it seems to have fixed the problem. Interesting....
