Just a quick question:
I have set TM_GIT and PATH correctly but my installation of git is still not found (it's under /usr/bin/git) when using the git bundle. Badges in the file browser also don't show when I am in a repository.
Anyone experiencing the same? Ideas?
BTW Allan: Avian looks amazing. So many brilliant new and improved features and possibilities! Thanks!
Hi Thomas,
I had the same problem.
The solution is to create a ~/.tm_properties file and put your settings in there.
Mine looks like this:
fontName = "Ubuntu Mono" fontSize = 16 tabSize = 2 softTabs = true TM_GIT = "/usr/local/bin/git"
If you're not sure where git is (apologies if you do!) type `which git` at the command line to find out.
Cheers
Alex

Thx, that did the trick with the git bundle, although I am still not seeing anything in the file browser that could be called 'status badges'.
What am I supposed to see there? I tried editing a file that is under source control, but nothing special is showing up.
Cheers, Thomas

Ah sorry, I got it! The small circle!
Nice… subtle, but nice. :)

When I edit then save a second later a neat blue disc shows up and any edited files turn up in the 'special' folder (purple with a cog) under 'Uncommitted Changes'
Maybe you need a restart?

forgive if this question is silly, but where can I see all the possible variables to use in tm_properties?
