When browsing documentation in a HTML preview window the hyperlinks work as expected but I cannot find anything like the forwards/ backwards keys in a Web browser to retrace the path through the hyperlinks. Do such keys exist?
Thanks,
Dave.
I had this problem too a long time ago, but (I think) since upgrading to Leopard ⌫ (backspace) has worked fine for me.

while browsing the docs for php ( ctrl+h ) you can use cmd+left and cmd +right - perhaps it's the same where you "are"? :)

Try the command ] and [ shortcuts. They're the latest back/forward standard shortcuts across most Mac apps. Used to be the arrows, so they still mostly work, but it doesn't always work as expected when you have a form input focused.

I am used to using command ] and command [ but they don't work for me in textmate (hence the original post), but command left and command right do.
This is with a UK keyboard.
Dave.
