Hello,
I'm trying Spell Catcher X, and I notice that it does not work so well with Textmate when using "Auto-Show Suggestions" with a popup list: the popup list is shown when there is a mistake, but no more input is processed until I click on the window.
Is this a known bug of Textmate or Spell Catcher X? As both programs look really nice, I'd be glad to have both work together.
Thanks,
Alan

Is that the pop-up window you need to activate? If so, I'd say it's a Spell Catcher X problem.
I did test Spell Catcher X only shortly roughly a year ago, and didn't find any incompatibilities, but I am sure I also missed a lot of its features, like that pop-up window.

It's TextMate I need to activate again. As Spell Catcher X is an input method, and I think I've read TextMate did not support input methods completely, that might be the source of the problem.

I'll try it again without the popup window, and let you know if it works well.

I asked the author of Spell Catcher X, and he told me that it seems that the problem is because input methods are not supported by TextMate, so no interactive spell checking method of Spell Catcher X (including this popup window) will work with TextMate.
Are there plans to support input methods in TextMate?
Thanks,
Alan

No concrete plans -- I will have to figure out what exactly is required first, but this won't be in the nearest future.
