When I've got a lot of tabs open, I sometimes want to go from the file whose contents I'm editing to the listing of that file in the file browser. Didn't there used to be a way to do this? I can't find it. What I want is that the outline in the file browser should open the triangles as necessary to reveal the file listing and select it and scroll to it.
Xcode does this with Navigate > Reveal in Project Navigator.
If TM doesn't do this, could this be a feature request? If it already does, could you remind me how?
Thx - m.

Thanks, that was it!
I guess if I have a suggestion, then, it's that this menu item should be renamed. Go > Current Document communicates nothing to my mind. Some of the Go menu items open tabs; other Go menu items (like this on) select in the file browser. Maybe the Go menu needs reorganization to help with this.
Thx again. I'm glad I didn't just dream it. m.

If you can, please check out the latest nightly build. We've been reorganzing the Go menu. It's now called "File Browser" and we moved some of the items to other menus so that now the remaining items only work with the file browser. E.g., Go > Current Document is now File Browser > Select Document (it's also dynamic and will display the name of the current file being edited). I think it more intuitive than before.
Sounds like you're miles ahead of me on this one! Cool, thanks for letting me know.

Wow, I just played with the file list on the right and discovered I could open pdfs in skim with one click! This is fantastic and will save many of us a great deal of time. Thank you so much, Ronald Wampler!
