I'm starting to want to edit every possible piece of text in my system with TextMate. I use DevonThinkPro for certain things, and type a lot of stuff into its Rich Text page type, but when I then do Edit in TextMate, it comes in as Plain Text. All I want from the RichText is to occasionally make something bold or change the font size. Is there a page type in TextMate that will let me do that and then save it back to DevonThinkPro and look correct there?
Thanks,
Ernest

You're better off sticking to plain text in DT. Then doing markups easily in tm. Plus it keeps the db down in size.
A regular dt user may have a better opinion. The problem is how transparent dt's database is and which app owns the file.

Hopefully we'll be able to make a filter to convert rtf → markdown sometime. Does anyone on the list want to take this up? Does anyone know anything about rtf?? Maybe it can be an rtf → html → markdown conversion instead?
