Greetings,
I'm just wondering if there is a graphic interface for key bindings in the pipeline -- it seems to me that it would be in line with the emphasis on customizability in TM to not have to tinker with a .dict file. :)

Yes -- basically everything should eventually be possible to do from within TextMate, also things like creating (!= instantiation) new templates etc.
It's just easier to do the non-GUI version first and see how things work out. But I do know that the (perceived) value is lowered when one has to edit text files, after all, that's why I did recordable macros before apple scripting ;)

In the meantime, I've been using Unsanity's MenuMaster and it works perfectly and it couldn't be much easier. It's come in handy in many other apps as well, as it works in a surprising amount of menus (dock icon menu items, menu bar icon menu items, etc.) -- Toby Sterrett 120 Decibel
