Hi All,
Just upgraded to the 3.0 beta for OS X of Safari, and it seems that the "Edit in Textmate" no longer works :(
I was using it all the time so I noticed real soon when it stopped.
Cheers,

Safari boxes still work (like the address bar or the google / page search box, tho not sure how useful those are). What stopped working are the html boxes...
I'm seriously hoping, and it's probably the case given the behavior of the client itself, that this is a beta bug and not some sort of "redesign" on their part... Anyone up to filing a bug report?

For new threads USE THIS: textmate@lists.macromates.com (threading gets destroyed and the universe will collapse if you don't) http://lists.macromates.com/mailman/listinfo/textmate

I'm pretty sure they changed the control they use for input fields in HTML some time ago.
"Edit in TexMate" stopped working a long time ago in WebKit nighties, so I guess it's a change, not a bug. I really hope this can be fixed.

By safari 3., do you mean webkit nightly, or an NDA Safari?

Yes, it seems this is a real problem. I can't use TextMate in Safari anymore :( waaaay bad. Is there something we can change in the InputManager?
According to this post in apple discussions, the devs have got to make a change.

Is there any chance this will be resolved soon? Thanks.

Making hacks for Apple’s beta software is not on my short to-do list, sorry.
But everyone is free to improve the source to also support Safari 3 beta: http://macromates.com/svn/Bundles/trunk/Tools/Edit%20in% 20TextMate/
