I understand from the text accompanying the font "Anonymous Pro" http://www.ms-studio.com/FontSales/anonymouspro.html that we should expect a new build which will take care of some problems associated with TTF font files with included bitmaps.
Any prognosis on when to expect this?

Isn't it what the latest build is about?
"[CHANGED] Line heights are obtained via NSFont instead of ATSUI. There are now the following (hidden/expert) preferences to control font metrics: OakLineHeightDelta and OakBaselineDelta."
Try to ⌥+[Check Now] your TM in Update preferences.

Somehow I had only "minor updates" turned on. Has this always been a three-way choice between minor, major and cutting-edge?
