After the compilation of try.tex, if I click on try.log in the HTML output, I get this message
File does not exist The item "(null)' does not exist

I flagged your first letter — it’s presumably the command that generate some edge-case txmt:-link that 2.0’s parser doesn’t handle like 1.x did.
If you want to help you can use view source (⌥⌘U) look at the link to the log.
