The page down key appears to scroll line by line not page by page.
I was initially surprised by this too, but used to it by now..

This is because page down moves the cursor, and this only happens if the cursor is already on the bottom line of the window. Hold option and press page down and it will behave like it does in most text-editors. All the hidden interesting features could give you a headache...

Actually, for me the cursor seems to go to the bottom of the window on the first click, and then scroll down page by page on the successive clicks. Not really conventional but not very far from it either.
