Greetings,
This is a bit off topic... but I'm already composing the email so hey. Anybody recommend a good Mac IRC client? I haven't been on IRC for years, and never since switching to Mac. I've searched a bit but thought maybe someone could make a recommendation since many folks on here seem to discuss this project on IRC (which is my goal as well).
Thanks!
Raymond
I find "Conversation" to be good.

Colloquy is a good open-source alternative to Conversation.
I find that both Colloquy and Conversation are more "Mac-like" in their philosophy and implementation than other OS X IRC clients.

I like Colloquy. And the icon looks great beside the TextMate icon.
Hey, for Mac users that stuff is important!
Thank you,

I use Irssi in a terminal window (installed with Fink). Very fast and lightweight. I tried Colloquy too, it's cute but pretty huge and slow (they actually use XSLT and a WebView to display the text, IIRC).

Thanks for the Irssi tip. I'm always watching for good command-line apps. I'll give it a shot.

According to Michael Gregoire:

I find the combination of irssi within screen sessions unbeatable. That way, I can disconnect from screen and reconnect from another place with ssh and keep everything as if I never logged off. I find easier to manage multi-servers/networks setup with different screen sessions too.
