Hello,
Every so often the UI will hang. This is a new development and has started about a week or so ago. I don’t think anything has really changed on my end. It occurs when moving my text cursor around or when bringing up the find window. I’m sure there are other things that cause it to occur, but I can’t think of them at the moment. It doesn’t happen every time but it happens enough to be annoying.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can try do spindump using Activity Monitor. Select TextMate in the list, click the toolbar button with a gear icon and select Spindump. This could give the TextMate developer(s) some ideas of what’s going on.
I ended up doing a timing profiler and it looks like something is going on with [OakPasteboard pruneHistory], with the biggest offender being [NSSQL FetchRequestContext executeRequestUsingConnection:]. I’m going to attach the instrument data. The issue occurs in the last 10 seconds of the recording.

My clipboard history DB is 400MB. I’m sure that’s the problem. I’m going to delete it and I’ll report back if the issue is or isn’t resolved.

What kind of document? Hangs are usually caused by a bad language bundle. m.
