Sorry if this is oh so obvious but I can not figure out if this is possible or something that was already asked for and will come in the future (sorry if this is the case).
I have an html site and the way I like to make new files in many cases is to duplicate an existing file (would be great if this was added to the project drawer) so I went to the finder and duplicated the files but they do not show up in the project drawer even after I close the project and reopen it.
Is there some way of easily refreshing the project drawer to match the finder?
Thanks,
Eric

It really should have done this automatically, granted the project had the containing folder added (as a folder reference).
I.e. rather than adding files individually to the project drawer, drag the folder containing the files to the project drawer (or to the TextMate application icon), and the project should be self-updating, when changes are made in the filesystem.

I can confirm this! there used to be an annoying performance problem involved with this feature, but meanwhile it works so well, I keep forgetting that it's there ;-)
in practice this means often, that when I switch back to TM after duplicating a file inside the project (either in finder or in terminal) it's already there without any noticable updating taking place (this may perhaps be connected to tiger, where this feature is now also finally working in between Finder and Terminal)

Thanks for the clarification. So to summarize:
When starting a project be sure to drag and drop the root folder from finder into the project instead of navigating to the folder and pulling all the files in from there. While this seems to add an 'extra level' of indentation to the project drawer the refreshing system seems t be tied to having files inside a folder.
Thanks for the help,
Eric
