Yeah, my sentiments exactly! Although, now we'll finally get to see the performance difference between OS X and Windows on the same platform. Should be interesting.
Although Apple has killed my want of a Mac Mini until I see what the Intel boxes look like next year.
This is going to be interesting.

Why port it to windows, when there are much better OSes to port it to? Linux :D

Not sure if you want a serious answer ;) but I'll do x86 builds when I have x86 hardware to test it on. Not sure when that'll be, since Apple currently only “rent” it to select and premium ADC members.
But seeing how there's both a PPC emulator and probably a year until we'll see x86 hardware for consumeres, I think I have time on my side :)
