The new »Edit in TextMate« input manager only seems to work in English apps. In non-english/localized (in my case German) apps the new entry in the edit menu doesn't show up at all. Is that a known bug?

Yes, this comes from finding the Edit menu via its name. Maybe I can just always assume it's the third menu.
Maybe you could search for, say, the Copy menuitem by its selector, and use that to identify the menu itself?

Sounds like a good idea. If anyone feels like playing with this, the source is available here: http://anon:anon@macromates.com/svn/Bundles/ trunk/Tools/Edit%20in%20TextMate/ (I likely won't find time for this soon).
