Is there a way to do this that is easier than all this svn stuff? I want to install whatever I need to get my color highlighting of code (html, javascript, PHP) back.
After having spent two days completely rebuilding three machines (and there is still more to do) in the studio I don't have the patience to figure out how to get SVN to work again...sigh. Why can't I simply download a file, put it into a directly...and voila. Like a plugin or whatever...
Help...
Thanks, v

For html, javascript, and PHP there's no reason to do svn checkouts.
Just to clarify: svn checkouts where necessary for getting bundles in the *unofficial* 1.1b6-12 -- that's now long ago, and two dozen bundles are included with TextMate, and even latest nightly contains latest versions of these bundles.
So the only reason to do a svn co of one or more bundles is, if you want a bundle not among one of the two dozen standard bundles (or of course if you're among those who contribute to the bundles :) ).

I'll apologize for the mistake quickly...but what am I missing? Why can I not get the color highlights to come back? I'm missing something obvious here...

Was this a clean install? does the status bar show correct language name? does the View -> Language menu show languages? does Preferences / Fonts & Colors show selectable themes?
Quite strange...it said I was using v1.1b17...but I just grabbed the current copy from the server, also v1.1b17 but it's clearly different.
And now my code highlighting is back and all seems well. ?
Thanks, v

For new threads USE THIS: textmate@lists.macromates.com (threading gets destroyed and the universe will collapse if you don't) http://lists.macromates.com/mailman/listinfo/textmate
They may be disabled. Try:
Window -> Show Bundle Editor Click on "More Bundles..." button in bottom left corner Check the languages you want.

I missed that and had the routine to update more or less daily the bundle tree to have them up to date, while using the current b17. Where can we get those TM nightly builds?
