Hi
I have been messing around with the trial version of textMate as I finally got the time to do so. It is of course awesome!
I have now broken every single path, snippet, template, bundle.. you name it. This is OK and totally expected in a test drive for a piece of software that gives one this much power.
How can I completely re-install textMate so that it looks precisely as when I started it up this morning?
Im on 10.5.4 OS X leopard, running/breaking textMate 1.5.7(1436)
I tried removing the files in user/library/preferences and deleting what ever I could find on my system named textMate and emptied out my trash. Still when installing from the image I get my "broken" version back.
Regards Ricki
you need to delete the .plist file from library..... you'll find it, probably is suficient. it forgot me the licence also.

Thank you Baluta
You are right, I missed a .plist file com.macromates.textmate and everything is back to normal.
I'll get started with my snippets now.
Thanks again

Ricki,
TextMate may also put some files (including edits to "built-in" bundles) in ~/Library/Application Support/TextMate. You probably found that folder in your system-wide search for "TextMate", but if you didn't, you may want to delete that, too, to completely "clean" TextMate.

you can also use one of this softwares that will do the job automaticaly http://www.tuaw.com/2008/04/28/mac-101-uninstalling-applications/
