I am the maintainer of the C Library Bundle. I have removed it from the repository until a better solution can be found. I apologize for the trouble I have caused, I was unaware of the current practice of discussing new bundle before adding them to the main repository and committed my changes without thinking. It was not my intention to offend any part of this excellent community.
My heartfelt gratitude to those of you who defended me on this list. I hope that the C Library bundle (or a better replacement) can be made available to those who may find it useful. If any of you would like a copy, please contact me and I will make it available (probably on my .Mac account).
Sincerely, Steph

Hi Stephen,
Sorry if my comments seemed a bit harsh. I don't mean any offense or disrespect, but I think we can hopefully build something with the same ultimate effect as your bundle, without adding more than a command or two and a simple flat file describing all of the functions.
Anyway, I sure hope I don't discourage you from future tinkering and contribution.
Cheers, Jacob
Although your comments were reactive, they did contain kernels of constructive criticism. I am intrigued by your proposal and will look into the Latex example, and maybe even learn some Ruby. ;-)
I should not have committed such a large bundle without first talking to the community, I didn't think about it clearly. I thought others may find my bundle useful, and those that did not could simply filter it out. When I first started the C Library bundle, Allan's Bundle StyleGuide did not yet exist, and I had not kept up with changes in the community since my last bundle (the Twiki bundle), which was accepted into the main repository without issue.
I also think some good things have come out of this experience. I too would like to see a "BundleForge" site created...
