Hiya
Is there a setting to tell TM2 to always highlight the file in the project pane which corresponds to the currently active tab? (In TM1 you could trigger this with a menu command, but personally, I'd prefer to have this done automatically since it's very handy in bigger projects which contain identical file names.)

No — TM 1.x was closer to a source list where it makes sense to highlight the current source, where 2.0 is a file browser.
There might be an “open files” view or similar that could function as a source list. Undecided ATM how the file browser should evolve.
