This is an issue I just discovered, and I was wondering if it could get fixed:
TextMate doesn't make coffee yet (black is fine, no sugar or milk needed).
Also, I told it to wake me on time for the news, and it was 8 minutes late.
Allan?

Martin

I second that, although I take cream. It's actually quite disturbing that these features haven't been seriously considered yet. Also, here is a change of finally moving away from the competitors such as BBEdit in a serious and decisive way!... when your fingers are resting on the keys, the kitchen simply seems too far away :-/.

I seem to remember this as a known issue.. something with an off-by-one bug in the code ;-).
Fantastic spot - can't believe I hadn't noticed these problems before. Fixing them would improve TM further and make it, even more definitively, the ultimate programmer's editor.
(I take just a spot of milk in coffee and no sugar - though I prefer tea in the afternoon.)
Once Allan gets these two sorted, adding the (previously suggested) feature of being able to chain commands together would allow you to combine the so the alarm is set to wake you up with fresh-brewed coffee. Mmmm...nice.
Personally, I just can't believe Allan hasn't already fixed this. Next he'll tell us it's not going to be added until release 1.1! Anyone would think he was busy... sigh ;-)
With much gratitude, James

TextMate doesn't make coffee yet (black is fine, no sugar or milk needed).
It should really just hook into the existing Coffee Pot Control Protocol, would make it easier for hardware vendors to support TextMate in the future.

Because coffee should not be mixed with cocoa? or because carbon-based coffee is quite hard to drink?
