I just created a new PHP file in TextMate, and the file type popup at the bottom was set to Cake, and not HTML (which I assume is correct for a PHP file). The Cake bundle does claim PHP in it's filetype list. Is this correct?

No problem :)
As I mentioned in my followup - seems my Cake bundle wasn't the latest. I don't know what happened, but I forced a full update and all is good now.
(Which made me wonder how many others I have that aren't fully up to date - that's why I did the full update)
