Hey folks.
I recently updated my Ruby and Rails bundle (R6637 and R6633 respectively) and have found that some of the bundle function appears to be gone. For example the def, deft, and defs tab completion features. Is this on purpose?

I just tested, all three are working here.

There is indeed a problem, it is caused by the Groovy bundle.
For now, go to Bundle Editor → Filter Bundles and disable that bundle. Hopefully the maintainer of the Groovy bundle will sort this out over the next few days.
