Uhm I'm not sure I understood anyway ctrl + (right|left) arrow and you select many words. Otherwise command + mouse and you select whatever rectangular shape you want. Look in "Edit -> select"

TextMate does not support non-contiguous selection out the the box.
But there was once a bundle that could help with this. A quick google search didn't turn up anything. Anyone remember where that was?
