Hello,
I'm just wondering what the state of Big Sur / M1 support is?
Thanks
I tried via Big Sur... It worked well. Unfortunately Big Sur it self is not ready I guess... iCloud failed, most of the brew packages are not compatible. I use Bash (via brew) most of the bash basics did not work. I returned back to Catalina... Also I'm usin 16" MBP i9 x 8 core 2,4 + 32 gig ram... Big Sur was super slow... Maybe It works only for M1 chip no idea... Long story short, TextMate works fine :)

Big Sur is working well for me too. Getting less heating issues which is a bonus. A couple of minor issues like LaunchPad not working at one point but is fine again after rebooting.
TextMate is solid although I did see an instance of the redrawing issue when moving between long files we had before Catalina in one of the files but might be a different cause since it’s fine on some of my longer files that I would have seen that issue on.

And yet here I am, on Catalina 10.15.7 and TextMate 2.0.15, still having redrawing problems when switching tabs on not-really-long LaTeX files (1000 - 2000 lines)… I wonder when those problems disappeared.

That’s odd you still have it happening. It went away with Catalina for me for PHP files. Does it happen with any other file bundle? Just curious if it may be grammar related.

No, it does not seem related : I changed the grammar of two files from LaTeX to PHP. The first file has 200 lines, the second about 1600. Then, when switching between the two tabs or scrolling the long file, this happens [13MB]: https://filesender.renater.fr/?s=download&token=5a04bd23-4b2c-40a8-aa50-... https://filesender.renater.fr/?s=download&token=5a04bd23-4b2c-40a8-aa50-ddad63a988df
