My TextMate book arrived today! Even though I've been reading the PDF, it's nice to see it on paper.

I received my author's copies yesterday as well.
I was surprised by how gorgeous the typesetting is. I compared the screenshots with those in some other technical manuals and found the images in the TextMate book to be very crisp. The keyboard font and menu references also look terrific.
Good to know all that hard work (by three people in the case of the screenshots!) paid off.

O.K. Where can I get this book and what is the title. Sorry, I'm a recent convert to TextMate and have some catching up to do. - Ethan H. Darling

James, I totally agree with you the typesetting is great! But more importantly it's a great book, with a wonderfull explanation of what makes TM so great.
Thanks for a great book! -Brian

Hmm. Sounds like just what I need. My only question is, how close are we to v.2 and will this make the book obsolete?

Allan said at "least six months out" on IRC a day or two ago.
I don't think the change will be an overnight affair either. We may need a revision or two to get everything sorted out. Then the bundles will need time to catch up.
I'm hoping this will make the book relevant for a pretty reasonable time.
And you definitely want to buy a copy and show support so my publisher will allow me to write a second edition covering TextMate 2.0, right? ;)

Well of course that goes without saying :-)
I've already placed my order!
