Instead og editing the dict file, just go to System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts and add your new bindings there.

That's a useful suggestion--thanks. In the meantime can someone satisfy my curiosity as to what the bindable name of "next file tab" is? Or does the Keyboard shortcuts system dialog write the names somewhere I can view?
