I'd like this too.
I work over an AFP share on a linux virtual machine, and often TM cant detect when a file has changed (think we established some time ago its not TM's fault).
But it does mean when I change git branches, Im now in the habit of closing each file and reopening it to be safe.
The ability to just CMD-R(eload), and then hit enter on a confirmation dialog would be awesome.

I’d like a file menu command to revert a file to its previously saved state, discarding all current changes.
Or is that already somewhere that I missed?
