Any chance there can be an option to not have file browser affect the width of the editing window? Kind of like it was in TextMate 1's drawer.

It shouldn’t affect the width of the editing area unless you disable Preferences → Projects → Auto-adjust window size.
Thanks, disabling it gets the behavior I wanted.
