Hi,
I know that these items are not so simple to do but would it be possible to
1) add line numbers to this editor? Because it would simplify the search for errors for instance.
2) to apply syntax highlighting to this editor? This would mean to change NSTextField to TM's window object.
Thanks,
Hans
- add line numbers to this editor?

We all just use Edit in Textmate, then you get it all :)
- to apply syntax highlighting to this editor?
This would mean to change NSTextField to TM's window object.
Of course this would be ideal for the future, but Edit in TextMate is almost as good. (Install it via the TextMate bundle, use via the Edit menu.)

I would claim that Edit In TextMate is better, because the bundle editor window is far too tiny to do proper work in.
;)))) I had to laugh about my own question.
I wrote a lot of stuff within the bundle editor. And I know and use 'Edit in TM' but it came never in my mind to use 'Edit in TM' in conjunction with the bundle editor.
Of course, that makes things easier. Please forgive my stupid question. Sometimes I don't see the forrest for trees ;)
Many thanks
Hans
Some day I'm going to make Edit In TextMate actually be intelligent when it's editing its own bundle editor (so it can auto-select the proper language, and perhaps even force the bundle editor to re- select the original edited item if you've changed it). Then it will *really* be the thing to use :)
