hey there - just wondering if the tooltip error msg that appears sometimes when saving a file has any utility? in other words, is there somewhere I can find a log of what the error is? it's a bit frustrating to be told there's an error but not what it is or where it is etc etc.
I'm sure the answer's obvious enough but I can't find any documentation that discusses it.

I believe this tool tip is from a third party bundle which overloads ⌘S to run your code through a validator, so the error is a syntax error.
You can likely press ⌃⇧V to trigger the same validator as when saving (and then read what the error is).
