Hi,
With Monterey on a Macbook Air (M1) when I try to insert a template, I get the following error:
/Users/ego/Library/Application Support/TextMate/Managed/Bundles/LaTeX.tmbundle/Support/lib/Ruby/command.rb:423:in `template_text': uninitialized constant OSX (NameError) from /Users/ego/Library/Application Support/TextMate/Managed/Bundles/LaTeX.tmbundle/Support/lib/Ruby/command.rb:430:in `insert_template' from LaTeX Template:9
Is there a way around this?
Alain
Alain,
I have no idea at all, but could it perhaps be the below?
greetings, el

|Please include the following line inside command.rb import section:
require ENV['TM_SUPPORT_PATH'] + '/lib/osx/plist'
otherwise the OSX variable cannot be set and the template selector will not trigger. |
Hi Dr Eberhard, You save my day with this excellent answer ! Do you know why this problem happens? Best regards, Alain

Alain,
As I wrote, I have no idea.
I am an elderly gynecologist using LaTeX since Medical School and computer literate enough to add a line to a ruby file, but that's about it :-)-O
I just (vaguely :-)-O) recalled this issue, but in fact do not recall modifying command.rb, which I actually seem to have done, however :-)-O
If I was to speculate, Monterry changed things again without notice :-)-O

Hello,
I have a new problem. The template is shifted according to the value given to Tab Size. Whatever the method : tab trigger or Insert « Latex templates » I work with TextMate 2.0.23 on a MacBook Air (M1). Does anyone know about this problem? Alain

Hello,
I took TextMate 2.0.17 and all the problems disappear. No need to require ENV['TM_SUPPORT_PATH'] + '/lib/osx/plist' and no unwanted indentation! The only problem that remains are the TM_ variables ... which are not deleted!
I stop doing the updates! Too dangerous and waste of time! Regards, Alain
