Thanks Allan, a gutter marker would put a smile on my face : )
fyi - Stupidly simple solution I just implemented was making the Selection color an extraordinarily bright yellow; which is growing on me.

I would love it if upon finding a text occurrence with the Find dialogue or selecting an occurrence in the Find in Project results list TextMate would highlight the line in which the found text resides. It is difficult, particularly with certain color schemes, to see where exactly the found text is. It is possible to make the line highlighted by moving the cursor after finding the text (if "Highlight current line" is checked in prefs) but that seems an extra step to me) Anyone agree?
I have on the to-do that I should mark it in the gutter — this I think would allow for a better (more visible) marking, since highlighting current line and having a selection, does make the two things blend together (that's why the line highlight gets disabled for selections in the first place).
