Is it just me or is the anti-aliasing just butt-ugly in iTerm? I spend a *lot* of time in my terminal. I'd love to have tabs but I just can't look at that text without painfully scratching at my eyeballs involuntarily. Is there a setting to fix that? (Sorry Allan for this totally OT thread).

I've also tried rebuilding iTerm but with no luck. I'd hoped to have a go at fixing the prefs problem but I've only just got a mac and don't know the api's.
The problem is with NSCFDictionary, using the setObject: foo forKey: baa function, it fails with 'mutating method sent to immutable object'
Whats unusual is my self-built copy of iTerm did save prefs very occasionally, normally failed though.

In my experience, either A) the most recent build of iTerm, or B) iTerm on Tiger (or possibly C) the combination of both) does in fact seem to break preference saving. I've had to resort to using the Property List Editor to edit my prefs file in order to really get anything good saved (like changing the ANSI color scheme).
I actually nabbed the XCode project from the iTerm site and mucked around--actually trying to fix the irritating "always bounces the Dock when a background tab has new input" issue--but haven't been able to fix the prefs issue yet.
Ironically, the only real thing that I use iTerm for is the tabs, but it's so useful that I tend to overlook the bugginess.
